Support Salts Juniors By Buying A Brick For £10

Posted by

Based in West Yorkshire, Salts Juniors are a community football club and a registered charity. They were established in 1991 with a small group of players initially to now having over 500 of which a large number are Liverpool supporters, as well as Leeds United and Bradford City fans.

Players can start with the club at 4 years old and the club runs junior teams, Under 21’s teams, senior teams and Veterans Teams. They are a ‘club for life’. The club doesn’t just provide football skills but life skills and are proud of how many players have passed through the club. There are no trials and all players are welcome with most age groups having at least three teams.

The club are developing their home base at Salts Sports Association. They have recently had two brand new full size pitches laid and are currently fundraising towards new changing rooms. The club used the shirt to raffle to raise funds towards this project. The main changing room fundraising idea is their “buy a brick” scheme. People can buy a “virtual brick” for £10 which gets added to an online fundraising wall. When the changing rooms are built a poster showing all these donations will go up in the changing rooms.
