What would it be like to play for Liverpool? A question that all of us have no doubt thought about. What would it be like getting that call to play for the Reds?  Would you cope or feel the pressure? How would you handle losing or winning?  Rob Jones journey from being a fan and then going onto play for the Reds will hopefully provide you with that insight.

In the final installment of our Rob Jones interview, Rob talks about adjusting to life at Liverpoolwhich players he looked up to… the 1992 FA Cup final…what it was like meeting King Kenny…the Liverpool fan base in Asia… and on what it is was like to be voted into the 100 Players Who Shook The Kop (2013) poll.

Since we carried out the interview, Rob has recently joined the Liverpool Academy with Kop Legends Steve McManaman and Robbie Fowler as a coach, working with the U18’s and U21’s at Kirkby.

We would all like to wish Rob the very best in his new role and hope to see another Rob Jones coming through the ranks or equally his son Declan who is currently on the books at the Academy.

Away from football Rob and his wife Sue Jones run a successful nursery business called Kids Academy:

For all you Rob Jones fans, you can find him on Twitter @robertmarcjones and if you’ve not read his must read autobiography ‘Robbed’ you can order your signed copies here:
