Last week, The Asian Kop were invited to Melwood Training Ground to speak to Mike Marsh.

Marsh played for the Reds from 1987 to 1993, making 101 appearances and scoring 6 goals for the first team.

He joined the Academy in 2009 as the Under 18’s coach. With a new manager at the helm, Marsh has now been promoted to the first team coaching staff.

In this exclusive eight minute interview, Marsh reflects on his career, making his debut for the Reds, his memorable games in a Red shirt and being promoted to the first team coaching staff under the new manager, Brendan Rodgers.

We would like to thank Mike for his time and Liverpool Football Club for their hospitality.
